Justifacts’ Remote Employees Return June 15
Silence.
Hallways that once were full of footsteps are empty. Cubes and offices that once were occupied now sit vacant. The rich smell of coffee that once hung in the air has faded. A building that was alive with the comings and goings of people now seems almost deserted.
Two months ago, when PA received the ‘stay at home’ order, our employees made the switch to remote work. Our Work from Home team(April 2020 Employee Spotlights) worked tirelessly to make sure everyone was up and running within the first week. We could continue to provide the same support and services to our clients while staying safe and wearing pajamas.
All of that would be ending when Westmoreland County moved into the ‘green’ phase of Governor Wolf’s plan on June 5th. Under this new phase, businesses are able to bring more of their workforce back to the building while following safety guidelines. It was later determined that our employees would return to the building on June 15th.
However, things will be a little different when they come back to the office. Some of the differences include:
-Masks will be required when moving through the halls and other common areas.
-Cleaning materials were provided to all employees to use at their desks along with Kleenexes and hand sanitizer.
-Temperature checks will be conducted when the employee arrives in the morning. Anyone with a temperature of 100 degrees or higher will be sent home.
So, to our employees, welcome back!
While it may take a little getting used to, just remember that we are all in this together…6 feet apart.
