What do you do as a Verification Specialist?
I verify employment and confirm degrees. I get to talk to people and help qualified people find jobs.
What do you like most about working for Justifacts?
I love all the people I get to talk to every day. I feel like a get to really put an applicant’s story together so that a client can really get a feel for who they are hiring.
Is there a time when you helped a client avoid a really bad hire?
On a recent past employment verification, I spoke to an employer where the applicant had really fostered a negative work environment; it caused a lot of problems for that business. It turned out the applicant also had a criminal record and other issues.
If you could switch jobs with anyone at Justifacts who would it be?
Merry, she is independent and knowledgeable; it would be fun to switch roles with her for a day.
What first drew you to Justifacts?
I live close by and the Justifacts’ sign drew me in originally. I have a degree in Criminology, so I was very interested. Once I came in, I was impressed with the overall professionalism here at Justifacts.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I’m 22 years old. I love to watch Dateline and Boston terriers. I love to cook; sausage with rice is my specialty. I’m not a morning person & I love playing sports.

I played on three different basketball teams and broke 8 bones playing basketball.

It’s a Saturday night, I have no plans and a Dateline marathon is on!
