I-9 & E-Verify

I-9 and E-Verify services confirm that every new hire is legally eligible to work in the United States, helping you prevent compliance violations and protect your organization. With accurate verification from the start, you can onboard confidently and maintain a secure, compliant workplace.

E-Verify

E-Verify is a federal system operated by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in partnership with the Social Security Administration, designed to confirm a new hire’s eligibility to work in the United States. As a registered Employer Agent, Justifacts is authorized to submit E-Verify cases on your behalf, whether used as a stand-alone service or paired with our electronic I-9 process.

To simplify this requirement for employers, Justifacts has built a direct integration with the E-Verify system that automates case submission and reduces the chance of data-entry errors. For clients using our Form I-9 Compliance partnership, each electronic I-9 is transferred seamlessly into E-Verify, improving speed and accuracy while lowering the likelihood of receiving a Tentative Non-Confirmation (TNC).

When combined, electronic I-9 completion and E-Verify processing provide an efficient, accurate, and cost-effective solution for verifying employment eligibility for all new hires.

Electronic I-9 System

Justifacts’ partnership with Form I-9 Compliance provides clients with a fast, accurate, and fully electronic process for creating, managing, and storing I-9 forms. The system includes helpful tools like alerts for expiring documents, status notifications, and seamless integration with E-Verify to minimize errors and reduce turnaround times. By eliminating paper forms and handwriting issues, it streamlines HR workflows and reduces the risk of lost or compromised documents. Automated reminders keep you informed of pending and completed I-9s, as well as those eligible for disposal under USCIS retention requirements.

Easy Automation

Straightforward technology fully automates the completion, signature, storage, and tracking of I-9 forms.

Secure Storage

High-level security design that includes 256-AES encryption, access protocols, and physical security for the data center.

Continuously Updated

Updated to reflect the latest developments in USCIS/ICE regulations and procedures.

Currently, E-Verify is a voluntary program for most employers. E-Verify is mandatory in some instances including, but not limited to:

  • Employers with federal contracts that contain the FAR E-Verify clause
  • Arizona, Georgia and Mississippi employers
  • Public contractors in Colorado, Georgia, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Rhode Island and Utah
  • State agencies in Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Rhode Island and Utah

E-Verify is available in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, is currently the best means available to electronically confirm employment eligibility.

No, E-Verify cannot be used as a pre-screening tool. The earliest you are able to initiate a query is after an offer of employment has been made and the I-9 form has been completed.
